In addition to serving on the board of the Veterans’ Island Project, I am a member of the Mahanatawny Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. I presently hold the positions of Corresponding Secretary and Service for Veterans committee chair. Our Veterans committee provides opportunities for community-oriented projects and volunteer services for the local Southeastern Veterans Center, Joint Veterans Council, and organizations like the Veterans’ Island Project. Each of these organizations fit well into our DAR chapter initiative of supporting veterans.
I was born and raised in Pottstown and after many years away and retiring (YAY!) from the medical sales industry, I returned in 2019. For me, volunteering and civic involvement are a part of my personal path and continuing connection to Pottstown. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the community.
